Supporting documents for an Investor's Permanent Residence Permit
The following documents are required for the issuance of an investor’s permanent residence permit:
1. Application Form
Completed application form for the investor’s permanent residence permit.
2. Photos
- Four (4) recent colour photographs (in physical form), in accordance with passport specifications.
- Digital format of the photos on CD (JPEG format).
3. Passport or Travel Document
A certified copy of a valid passport or travel document recognised by the country, together with the necessary entry visa (where required).
4. End of License Printing
Payment of a residence permit printing fee of €16.
5. Electronic Ticket
Electronic fee, in accordance with the provisions of articles 132 of Law No. 4251/2014 and 38 of Law No. 4546/2018.
6. Insurance Policy
Private insurance policy that covers:
- All foreseeable risks.
- The amount of benefits, as defined by law.
7. Notary's Certificate
One of the following is required:
- Notary’s certificate for the transfer or lease of the property, with the following information:
- The details of the contracting parties.
- Information about the property and how to pay.
- Reference to any dissolving condition.
- Special Notary’s Certificate (if the property’s objective value currently exceeds 250,000 euros):
- Description of the full payment of the price.
- Indication that the contract is no longer subject to conditions or time limits.
8. Certificate of the Land Registry or Land Registry
A document confirming that the property is free of encumbrances.
9. Copy of Notarial Deeds of Lease or Purchase of Real Estate
Required:
- A copy of the lease or purchase contract of the property confirming the full payment of the amount of 250,000 euros.
- Report on the granting of an operating label by the Greek National Tourism Organisation (where required).
10. Proof of Transcription
Proof that the lease or contract has been transferred to the competent land registry.
11. Documents Relating to the Construction or Restoration of a Dwelling
- Contract of purchase of a parcel of land or plot of land.
- Contractor’s agreement filed with the tax authorities.
- Building permit in the name of the investor.
- Contractor invoices and receipts.
12. Timeshare Contract
- A contract of at least five years’ duration with an indication of the annual price.
- Proof of transcription of the contract from the land registry.
- Confirmation from the Greek National Tourism Organisation for the preparation of the contract.
